Bangkok oasis breezy bike tour

Had a lovely morning with Wit at Bang Kachao. It was a real gem. The tour was well paced with stops at local market and streetside stall for delicious mango sticky rice. Wit knew the island inside out and guided the tour superbly. Point to note that you should be handle the hike as some parts are very narrow through the side alleys and platforms. Highly recommended

This was a great bike tour. Wit was amazing and took me all around the island. He was conscientious regarding the speed and really seemed to care if I was having a good time. I was! Highly suggest this tour it beautiful and just the right distance. Oh and the boat ride over and back is fun too. Highly suggest this tour.

i cannot express how happy i and my husband are being able to do this tour. our guide Kavee was super friendly and had great english as well as knowledge of the local area. the journey was amazing and super physical, as expected. we did it in 4 hours and did not want it to end. totally recommended for anyone who loves the outdoor and going thru the villages on bikes. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEE!!

방콕에서 무엇을 할까 고민을 하다가, 접근성이 좋은 근교에서 진행하는 투어를 선택했습니다. 먼저 자전거로 큰 공원을 돌아보며 물고기 밥도 주고, 큰 도마뱀도 만날 수 있었고, 태국의 샤머니즘에 관한 이야기도 들을 수 있었습니다. 두 번째 장소에서는 태국 전통 시장을 볼 수 있었으며, 그곳은 참 저렴하고 맛있는 음식들로 가득했습니다. 20년 전에 왔던 태국 전통시장과 비슷한 분위기로, 관광객들이 흔히 방문하는 야시장의 분위기와는 또 사뭇 달랐습니다. 세 번째 장소는 에어컨이 나오는 카페였고, 커피 한잔을 하며 가이드가 사준 간식을 즐기며, 서로에 대한 이야기를 나누었습니다. 물론, 여행 관련 정보도 공유를 했구요. 마지막 장소에서는 망고 밥을 즐겼는데, 망고가 정말 잘 익었었습니다. 친구가 너무 맛있다고 태국에서 먹은 디저트 중에 최고라고 극찬을 했습니다. 큰 기대를 안했지만, 정신없는 방콕에서 이렇게 고즈넉한 분위기의 투어를 즐길 수 있다는 것이 참 좋았습니다. 가이드와 동행한 스페인 친구는 친근했고, 서로의 여행 이야기를 나누고 여행정보를 공유했습니다. 투어 중간중간 간식이나 물을 제공했고, 더운날씨 탓에 중간 중간 오래 머무르느라 예정된 투어시간을 넘겨서 진행할 정도로 친절했습니다. 투어가 끝나고도 편히 택시를 기다릴 수 있는 공간을 알려주고, 볼트 택시를 잡을 때 전화까지 대신 해주었습니다. 도시 한가운데 있는 허파와 같은 섬에서 잊을 수 없는 휴식을 가질 수 있었습니다.

What an unexpected treasure! The Great Green Lungs of Bangkok was absolutely gorgeous, and the guide was fun, relaxed, and moved at our place. He was very knowledgeable about everything, he paid very good attention to us, his attention to safety was amazing, he dealt with any unexpected issues very calmly and efficiently, and he showed us some wonderful small secret areas of the island. Every part of the experience was pleasant and enjoyable. This tour is a MUST for for seeing a completely different side of Bangkok in all of it's glory. Please please PLEASE try this tour! You will not regret it!

What a lovely, breezy getaway from the heat and bustle of the city! My partner and I were the only ones that booked that day so we were lucky enough to have a private getaway with our guide! This really stood out from other tours that we took in the city because he was super friendly and a wealth of knowledge about what to do in the city. We were able to take our time, get a nice long bike ride, take some lovely photos, and experience the quiet side of Bangkok. At the end of the tour we got to sit at a lovely Riverside cafe and discuss other cool and interesting things to do around Bangkok, which helped make the rest of our visit better too! Alot of tours you book on this site are over-crowded with uncharismatic guides that push you from one place to the next--this is without a doubt the complete opposite! For a relaxing time with a personable guide, you should take this tour!

Aunty Maew's coconut adventure and cooking class

What a wonderful time with Kavee, Wit, Aunty Maew and family! From Coconut 101, to the priceless opportunity of learning how to cook from Aunty Maew, so blessed to receive so much. Absoluly loved the experience of prying a coconut apart by hand and grateful for Aunty Maew’s generosity in sharing her recipes and techniques. I want to tell it all but I don’t want to spoil anyone’s experience. Please make time in your trip for this! Kavee and Wit are amazing personalities - warm, kind and thoughtful. Oh, one thing you may want to note: Kavee, Wit & Aunty Maew will overfeed you. With everything good, especially delightful Thai food!

The best!! Had the best time with the best family learning how to make delicious food from scratch. 10/10 would recommend this experience offering a unique look into a neighborhood way off the beaten tourist path. Went home with lots of leftovers and a new confidence with my Thai cooking!

Aunty Maew's coconut adventure and cooking class

I recently had an excellent experience with a real Thailand family at their coconut farm just 20 minutes outside the city center. Not only did we get to pick coconuts, but we also had the opportunity to learn how to cook four authentic Thai dishes. Maew's son Wit was extremely responsive and helpful, walking us through everything including how to get to and from the farm. The highlight of the experience for me was definitely the cooking portion. We were able to use fresh ingredients from the farm and learn how to make dishes that we would never be able to replicate back home. Maew and her family were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get a taste of real Thailand and learn how to cook authentic Thai dishes. The family's hospitality and the beautiful farm setting made for an unforgettable experience that I will always remember. Thanks again to Maew and her family for making our day so special!

This was definitely one of the highlights of my Bangkok trip! Enjoyed cycling through the forest (park) and along the narrow canals/alleyways of Bang Kachao! We also had a stopover at a really nice cafe-loved the coconut dessert!!! Thank you, Wit!!! Would love to book again when I return with friends :)

Kavee was a phenomenal guide. He set a great pace, was responsive to our various wants/needs along the way, provided lots of snacks at the end, and was a kind and upbeat leader. The foot massage and market at the end was a refreshing finish to a nice, long bike ride! The green lung itself was a great scene against the backdrop of Bangkok, and is certainly something worth seeing along with canal tours, etc. We will be recommending to all of our friends traveling to Bangkok in the near future.
